Taman Ular Sawa Hutan Rekreasi Ulu Bendul menerima ahli baharu apabila dua ekor ular sawa jenis Anaconda Kuning melahirkan sebanyak 30 ekor anak pada 3 dan 19 Mei lepas.

Pengarah Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Sembilan berkata, ibu pertama ular itu melahirkan tiga ekor anak manakala ibu kedua pula sebanyak 27 ekor.

Ular spesies ini tidak menetaskan telur tetapi melahirkan anak. Anak-anak ular itu berukuran 30 sentimeter dan berat antara 200 hingga 300 gram.

Mereka mengasingkan anak-anak ular ini daripada ibunya dan dikuarantin selama enam bulan. Selepas itu, mereka akan lihat perkembangannya sebelum ia dipamerkan. Sumber : Kosmo
